How to Play

Last updated: 2026-05-26

Flame of Lifespan is a side-view monster-raising auto-battle game. Instead of controlling your monster directly, you choose which stage to send your raised monster into.

Basic Flow

  1. Hatch a monster A monster hatches from an egg to begin. If you already have a monster in training, you can continue from its detail screen.
  2. Check its status On the Monster Detail screen, check its level, HP, attack, defense, experience, and remaining lifespan.
  3. Choose a stage On the Stage Select screen, choose where to challenge based on the recommended level, threat level, enemy tendencies, reward tendencies, and stage traits.
  4. Watch the battle During battle, your monster automatically finds enemies, moves, and attacks. Watch the situation and decide whether to continue or retreat.
  5. Keep raising your monster Defeating enemies earns experience. Reaching the required experience triggers a level up and raises your monster’s stats. When an evolution candidate appears, choose one that fits your growth plan.

Stage Traits

Leveling Up and Evolution

Leveling up fully restores HP and raises your monster’s stats. When choosing an evolution candidate, consider its growth tendency — physical, magical, or endurance-focused — to build toward your training plan.

Game Over

The game ends when your monster’s HP reaches 0 or its lifespan runs out. Your score is saved at game over, and you can check top scores on the Score screen.
